You have 8 stations in West Yorks earmarked for closure....you fail to mention that these 8 are merging to form 4 new ones.

I wonder why.......

There are no station closures or predicted station closures in Region 1.

Mid and west wales - there have been no station closures planned yet and actually a new retained station has been created !!

However two day crewed have been downgraded to retained, any the remaining day crewed lost one Ff per station ( 6 stations )

Two wholetime stations have been changed to Self rostered crewing ( a form of the LLAR ) a total of 28 posts from two stations and the remaining being changed to a ' California ' shift system. In short losing a watch per station, a total of 35 posts, therefore in approx 4years have lost 63 operational posts from WM and below. I will say however the remaining posts have been given a shift allowance of approx 15% increase which is pensionable and the WM's changed to WM B's.

Station managers have taken a hammering lost nearly half of them, yet senior managers still drive around in provided cars and have suffered no detriment at all !!!! We're all in it together !! Honest

Figures from the old Strathclyde showing WT at just short of 2000 on the 4 watch system.

On the 5 group system on paper it's meant to be 1675 but in actual fact is running 175 below agreed establishment.

Rest of Scotland on the 4 watch but going onto 5 group so prepare to have your firefighters cut.

Interestingly the last page shows how many ran the old, old sfr personnel dept no where near the 100 it ended up with.
