Many thanks, Bill. Thanks for your support, both spiritually and financially, and many thanks too to everyone on this site who has done like wise. Our original target of £4,000 to raise funds for monitoring equipment was reached within five days, and the fund currently stands at £36,731 which is magnificent! We are attempting to get that figure to £40,000 in the coming weeks. Harry is showing "no evidence of disease", his hair has fully come back and he is back at school as if nothing had happened. Sadly, a majority of the kids in hospital with Harry have died, or are not responding to treatment. We, as a family, realise just how seriously ill Harry has been since last November, what a fight that he put up and just how important support from our family and friends has been. Thank you all.

1973 just pleased that Harry Has come through this hell. With the support and love he will be getting from everyone,I hope it's not to long before this whole episode is consigned to history. Really sad about the other kids, my heart goes out to their families.
We all have opinions, thank god they are not all the same, or there would be no debate.

Wow! What an achievement! Everyone came together to help us raise this amazing amount. We are truly grateful. The machines are on order woohoo! The fundraising won’t finish until we’ve reached 40k but we are so proud of the amount so far.

Thank you Velbert. Many people from this site contributed to the cause, and it really was most appreciated. The family name is pronounced "Bay-lum" rather than "Balham" but that isn't too important. Team Harry set out to raise an amount that they thought was achievable. £500! They ended up raising a little over £40,000! Marvellous!

Well Done to all the Bay-lums,
great achievement. But far more importantly, well done Harry for being so brave. Well done to all the doctors and nurses and others who gave Harry the care he needed. In a world were all we seem to hear is bad news, and troubles, its great to get some good news.
