History of epilepsy

Hello, I'm thinking of applying for an on call role at my local station. I used to have epilepsy but have had no problems with it now for 8 years and have been medication free for this time too.

Will this bar me from entry? Does anyone know the rules regarding epilepsy?

Emma, best advice is to contact your local fire and rescue service and speak with both their HR department and occupational health team

They will help you out , what area are you in?
