The murder of Charlie Kirk was awful, but then these murders of politicians and politically minded people in the US are taking place just about every month. And most of these crimes are perpetrated by the right against so called extreme left wingers. An extreme left winger in the US would pass for a Tory here in the U.K..
So it begs the question why all this hullabaloo about the death of one man, why did Trump think it was important to attend his ceremony, a ceremony held in front of thousands of avid Trump supporters.
Trump blames the extreme left wingers for all of the hatred in the US right now, but anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows exactly who to blame, and it’s not the loony left, it’s Donald Trump.
The same Donald Trump who released all of these criminals who stormed the US Capitol, the same Donald Trump who still tells everyone he won the 2020 election.
I fear for the US is heading to a dark place, and possibly we are not that far behind.
The world I have known all of my life seems to be disappearing, and what it’s being replaced with is scary beyond belief.
