I see from the messages some people want a date set to get CPD we already had that as part of our crap agreement remember we have lost half our LSI money already . Also its now Thursday still no change on FBU website .

Thats because their Admin people are crap. Instead of berating the Mods on this site they should ask them how to run a website.

Decided that if the employers do not pay the money stolen then we shall have no choice but to ballot for industrial action.

Time to stop running!

As much as I am all for that Smoothie I cant see Highlands and Islands stiking for their £20 a month. The employers know we won't strike over it and thats why they are taking the p1ss with it. The only good thing is it will be backdated if you qualify.

industrial action

Its not just about the LSI, cpd Its about being treated with respect and being properly rewarded for the modernisation that has taken place in the UK Fire Service.

The attacks cannot be allowed to continue................

How can someone get £500 CPD for being very highly qualified in one Brigade and another get £1000 for the absolute minimum in another (firefighter, not driver, no extra skills)

It's just so wrong and it's being used to split the workforce.
