A Slight Difference

[yebut]

Not sure it's been destroyed totally, yebut. Maybe been eroded in many places. But the watch ethos still hangs on in some places

Hi Peg, maybe I was a little over dramatic:confused:
What I see now is watches hunkering down, keeping a low profile
Doing their job
Yes they by and large still play together
The old days of Brigade Sports Days
Swimming Competitions
Football 11 and 5 aside
Drill Competitions etc.
All gone
The old inter division competition was good
Nowadays down my way stations are isolated
Recent retirements not as well attended as you would expect
I live in hope that past days will come again

If I had my time again I would rejoin. Happy days.

I wouldn't! ... Not after they've fucked up the pension! No way I'd work till 60!

I'd go back to school again....
