Sh!t happens all the time and what I can't control I don't let it affect me adversely. As long as I did my best on a shout I can sleep easy at night. When senior managers bring in changes that make the job less effective that is on them not me. I have lost Grandparents, friends, friends children and a few days ago my MRS' Mum. I don't dwell on things that don't help me, death is a natural part of life. I try to celebrate them. Do what works for you.
Cheers.

I know what you mean there’s much lip service being played these days. Today we have names for everything and measures how to deal with everything. But what’s lacking is true concern and a proper implementation of these measures. Companies and organisations for legal reasons abide by guidelines but then put profit and efficiency before true concern and implementation of humanitarian measures.

But I do think that we have improved in many ways that ns points out. But ultimately it’s fine having names and measures for everything. But what’s vital is that these measures are followed with the same volition in which they no doubt were created.

Obviously we are all different and respond to different things in different ways. What’s good for one person may prove damaging to another. That’s were genuine expertise and informed judgment comes in.
We all have opinions, thank god they are not all the same, or there would be no debate.
