Computer problem
#1
Just wondered if anyone can help me with this.
I'll try to keep it brief.
Got a Samsung laptop and was having problems with it so I tried system restore ( Windows ). No improvement so tried what I thought was system restore with Samsung and it turned out to be system recovery. Result...everything gone, files, documents, music, pictures..the lot!
Any help or advice would be gratefully received, ta!Sad

First and most importantly STOP.

Dont install any more software.

There is a possability you will over write files you may still be able to recover.

If you have formatted the hard drive then things are much much harder to locate. If you have just done a reinstall of windows then the data is still there but the index linking it to windows has been removed so installing software could overwrite these files as windows sees it as free space.
If you have access to another pc you can use that to down load free file recovery software, the attatch the laptop hdd to that pc and see what can be recovered. If not run it from a usb stick or finally install it on your hard drive.

Pray.

Good luck
