ios 9

It seems apple are trying once again to dictate how you use your mobile.
If you are on a mobile tarrif with limited data and you have downloaded ios 9 you need to turn off "wifi assist" or you could reveive a bigger than usual bill for going over your data limit.

Cheers bakes.
We all have opinions, thank god they are not all the same, or there would be no debate.

Both of my children have Apple phones but they're with Tesco which allows you to put a block on the account. They both have a £2.50 limit so there should be no surprises when it comes to their bills.

Got to be honest my iPhone always went mobile if there was no wifi prior to installing ios9. But I thought that was standard, didn't know you could switch it of, but thanks to bakes I have now done so.
Btw I changed to 3 earlier this year, used the phone in the us, Spain, and France all for free, you use your data as if back home, you can text or call any uk landline or mob and they can contact you. But strangely enough if you call a number from the country you are in you have to pay as if you dialed abroad.
From 2017 we will all be able to use our phones anywhere in the EC without roaming charges, long overdue,

You missed out Harlem there bakes.

Seriously they are brilliant, I get as good coverage as I did with orange, they are cheaper, give better service when you contact them. You can also make calls using wifi if you are in a poor reception area.

Yes wally it does but not when you are abroad.
I tried it using my phone and iPad in Majorca and got a message saying it was not available in my current location.
