is launching 999eye – live video-streaming and location-finding software. This means that now, if you call 999, you’ll be asked if you’d like to provide a live video stream of the scene using your phone. Having access to a live video stream of events will:
help evaluate risk,
support decision making,
deliver better a service to our communities,
help towards making our service fit for the future.

Whatever became of "Get Out, Get the Fire Brigade Out and Stay Out"? Encouraging potential victims to remain in a premises that is on fire to make a short film is rank stupidity in my view.
